The topic for this Tuesday’s Heal Your Life Study Group at the Unity Church of Baton Rouge is Our Divine Purpose. Peggy and I asked for suggested topics at the last meeting, and this was one that several people were interested in exploring.  We are excited to experience another phenomenal evening with the group, which continues to welcome new participants to the incredible circle of love and support created each time we come together. 
 
The group is open to everyone, and there is no fee; however, love donations to the church are greatly appreciated. I hope you can join us this week or sometime in the future (we meet every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm), and please tell your friends about the welcoming group at the Unity Church who is learning, growing, and celebrating success in their lives together.  See the events page for all the details. Heal Your Life® Book Study Continues

I am thrilled to be continuing the Heal Your Life Book Study at the Unity Church of Baton Rouge every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month.  Peggy Bueche and I have enjoyed sharing and practicing Louise’s philosophies and tools with this phenomenal group, and the feedback has been amazing! Group members are experiencing fabulous transformations in their lives, and we look forward to hearing the stories and celebrating successes each time we come together. New participants are welcome to join us any time.

New Year Heal Your Life® Events

This entertaining and inspirational film gives penetrating insights into Louise’s fascinating personal story and shows how her views on self-esteem, abundance, and emotional causes behind physical ailments were developed. It also reveals how she applies these concepts to her own emotional, spiritual, and professional life. The movie will be followed by a mini-workshop on the power of affirmations so you can put these practices to work in your life right away!

Supercharged by Women’s Week Activities

Participating in Women’s week over the past 10 days has been amazing! I connected with fabulous women starting at the luncheon on Friday, Sept. 16, and in all eight of the other events I attended. I facilitated four workshops and received wonderful feedback from the participants. I was also excited to be the Women’s Council Ambassador this year for the first time at three events, one of which was an open house hosted by the AAUW organization, which I decided to join to get more involved with supporting women’s issues.

One of the workshops I facilitated this year was a new event for me: Uncork Your Creativity, which I hosted with my friend Myrna on Wednesday at  Roux Wine & Spirits. The picture shown above includes the two winners, Gwen and Lisette, chosen randomly because we didn’t want to attempt to choose the best poetry since they were all so creative!

I plan to carry the supercharged energy from Women’s Week into next week, when I will facilitate the second meeting of my new series Uncork New Possibilities to Create a Life You Love on Wednesday evening at Roux Wine (register here) and then when I leave town on Friday for Washington DC where I will be attending a 5-day training program with the Center for Mind Body Medicine and celebrating my birthday!

Heal Your Life Events Scheduled for October

I am celebrating my birthday in October, as well as offering several fabulous Heal Your Life events! Join me to learn the power of loving of yourself, and get ready to reduce your stress and create a life you love.

I will kick-off a 6-week self-discovery group on October 11 focused on Louise Hay’s book You Can Heal Your Life. In this program, you will read the book and practice several exercises with the group to put the tools to work in your life right away.  You can expect to reduce your stress, increase the joy in your life, and start creating what you desire. We will meet each Tuesday evening from 7 to 8:30pm for 6 weeks. You Can Heal Your Life is required reading. The registration fee is $149 with a $30 discount if you register before Oct. 4. Space is limited. Register here.

On October 20, I will show You Can Heal Your Life: The Movie about Louise Hay’s amazing life and her work that has transformed the lives of so many people. After the movie, we will practice the tools Louise teaches in a mini-workshop. We will meet from 6:30-9pm. The registration fee is only $25 and space is limited, so register here ASAP.

October 29 will be a full-day dedicated to practicing the life transforming exercises originally developed by Louise Hay for her popular workshops. The workshop will take place from 9:30am to 5pm with a one hour break for lunch. The registration fee is $129, and you can receive a $20 discount by registering here by Oct. 15. Space is limited, so register early.

Fabulous new possibilities uncorked last night!

I had a blast kicking off my new series last night at Roux Wine & Spirits: Uncorking New Possibilities to Create a Life You Love.  A group of fabulous adventurers joined me ready to explore new frontiers in their lives. I am incredibly grateful to Myrna for hosting the event and sharing some wonderful wine with us.

I look forward to staying connected with my fellow adventurers and hearing how the new possibilities they uncorked create more joy and fulfillment in their lives. I appreciate each of them for sharing the evening with us.

Uncork New Possibilities to Create a Life You Love

I am excited to announce a new workshop series: Uncork New Possibilities to Create a Life You Love. The workshops will begin September 14 and continue every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at Roux Wine & Spirits in Prairieville. In these workshops, you will embark on a creative self-discovery journey while exploring wines from around the world and connecting with other adventurous people. The cost is $30 and registration will open soon on the Events Calendar at http://www.rouxwine.com/, where you can also learn about their Grand Opening celebration Friday, August 19, free tastings every Friday evening, and wine classes on Tuesday evenings.

Myrna Arroyo has created a fabulous atmosphere at Roux Wine to meet friends and explore wines from around the world, and I am excited to start offering self-discovery workshops two times a month in her beautiful space.
